Main Character

She’s an energetic but naive woman who is currently training to be a veterinarian. For the next 2 years, she will be working as an intern at Wannyan Animal Hospital. She was given an official name in the 2nd game, Himawari Doubutsu Byouin (localized into Petz Vet). Her name in the series is Maya Sugiura (すぎうら まや).

Kentaro Oishi (おおいし けんたろう)

The Director of Wannyan Animal Hospital. He takes his role very seriously, and doesn’t take much time for breaks. He tends to view things from a logical point of view, however he can be understanding of his staff acting upon emotion. He is married to Kumiko Oishi, the Head Nurse of the hospital.

Pets

Merry (メリー)

An energetic poodle. She belongs to Sayuri Ushihara. She was given to Sayuri as an emotional support animal to help with her depression. She is known to eat expensive jewelry.
